Each of these is something we've designed and deployed in real projects โ not theoretical capabilities.
๐
Automatic Folder Creation
When a new case, client, or property is created, the standard folder structure is provisioned automatically. For our forensic client: six folders created instantly on lead-to-case conversion โ no manual setup, no inconsistent naming, no forgotten subfolders.

Metadata on Upload
When a document is uploaded to SharePoint, a flow reads the folder path it's in โ case reference, client name, document type โ and populates the metadata columns automatically. No manual tagging required from staff.
๐
Date Extraction from Filenames
Documents often carry dates in their filenames. We build flows that parse those dates and write them to a Document Date metadata column โ enabling date-based views and sorting in SharePoint without renaming files.
๐
Word Template Generation
Annual reviews, engagement letters, onboarding packs โ generated from Word templates populated with data from SharePoint lists and Excel records. For wealth management: review documents populated with client data, adviser details, and meeting notes automatically.
๐
Excel & CRM Data Population
Client data held in Excel or a CRM matched to SharePoint records and used to populate metadata, generate documents, and drive views. We handle joint clients, partial name matches, and unmatched records gracefully.
๐
Metadata-Driven Views
Once metadata is properly populated โ by flows or by staff โ we build views that make it useful: Active Clients, My Cases, Reviews Due This Month, Documents Missing Metadata. Your SharePoint becomes a working operational tool.
