Do we need a specific Microsoft 365 licence for Power Automate?โ
Basic Power Automate is included in most Microsoft 365 business plans including Business Basic, Standard, and Premium. For more advanced scenarios involving premium connectors or per-flow licensing, we'll advise exactly what's needed during scoping. Most common business automation scenarios work within the standard included licences.
How long does it take to build a flow?โ
Simple flows โ a trigger that sets a column or sends a notification โ can be built and tested in a day. Complex production flows like lead-to-case conversion with duplicate prevention, error handling, and multiple outputs take longer to scope, build, and test properly. We always test thoroughly before going live because a flow that fails silently is worse than no flow at all.
What happens if a flow fails?โ
We build failure handling into every production flow โ error notifications, rollback logic where appropriate, and run history logging so failures are visible and diagnosable. We also document every flow so it can be understood and maintained. You won't inherit a black box that only we can fix.
Can you connect SharePoint to our existing CRM or database?โ
Yes โ we've done this using Excel as a source of truth for CRM data, with XLOOKUP-based matching and Power Automate flows that read and write across sites. For systems with direct Power Automate connectors (Salesforce, Dynamics, HubSpot, etc.) we can integrate directly. For others we can use HTTP requests or intermediary data stores.
Will you document what you've built?โ
Yes โ full documentation is standard on every project. Every flow we build gets documented with its trigger, logic, outputs, error handling, and maintenance notes. We've produced 17-page handover documents for clients. You should be able to understand and administer what we've built without us.
